PixelJunk Shooter 2 Releasing March 1 on PSN
by Steve Watts, Feb 10, 2011 4:00pm PSTPixelJunk Shooter 2, the sequel to the well-regarded PlayStation 3 title, will be available for download in just a few weeks. The PlayStation Blog announced today that the game will hit on March 1. Like its various Pixeljunk brethren, it will be a PlayStation Network exclusive. No price was mentioned with the announcement.
This game picks up where the last left off, in the gut of a giant monster. Spoilers! It includes three new worlds, 20 new weapons, and an online versus mode. The original received a generally favorable reception from critics, so we're looking forward to rescuing (and horribly murdering) more trapped space miners.
