Crysis 2 Trailer Talks Multiplayer Progression
by Alice O'Connor, Feb 10, 2011 9:00am PSTIt seems that almost every shooter's multiplayer mode hides its goodies behind persistent progression nowadays and Crysis 2 is no exception. The progression in Crytek's shooter is detailed in a lengthy new trailer, focusing on nanosuit unlocks.
Unlockable upgrades and modules covered range from small boosts, such as faster stealth transitions, to larger bonuses, like the mighty 'air stomp' attack. According to the trailer, it'll take players around sixty hours to reach the top of the ranking classes.
Crysis 2 is due out for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 22. A multiplayer demo was briefly available to Xbox Live Gold members and is due on PC before launch.
