Morning Discussion
by Xav de Matos, Feb 10, 2011 5:00am PSTLast night, one of the best shows on television ended. Five years after continuing the story already made into a film inspired by the novel from author H. G. Bissinger, Friday Night Lights has run its final play.
It's odd though; for some, the season hasn't even started. Friday Night Lights first runs on Direct TV and then jumps to a major network--in this case, NBC.
On NBC, Friday Night Lights begins its final season on April 15. If you haven't seen the series, I recommend it. It really is something special, even if you don't like football.

The first time, you're trying to figure out how everything pieces together.
The second time, now that the puzzle's completed, you can understand the impact of the revelations throughout. (and be amazed that the whole story is predicated on the climax being the near-middle of the story, chronologically, everything else in the second half just machinations of events played out from the first half.)
