Morning Discussion
by Xav de Matos, Feb 10, 2011 5:00am PSTLast night, one of the best shows on television ended. Five years after continuing the story already made into a film inspired by the novel from author H. G. Bissinger, Friday Night Lights has run its final play.
It's odd though; for some, the season hasn't even started. Friday Night Lights first runs on Direct TV and then jumps to a major network--in this case, NBC.
On NBC, Friday Night Lights begins its final season on April 15. If you haven't seen the series, I recommend it. It really is something special, even if you don't like football.

HD7 Pros: Windows Phone 7, bigger screen, good speaker phone and a good speaker in general.
Cons: Windows Phone 7 is still unproven and the support has yet to be seen. This didn't worry me 2 months ago but now it is as we see some companies start to back away from the platform.
myTouch4G Pros: 4G, front facing camera for video chat, better camera, more mature Android platform and hacking community.
Cons: I'm not entirely sold on Android, there are reported issues of screen quality problems that may or may not be resolved, the speaker is generally reviewed as being only OK.
I think I'm going to go with the myTouch4G and give the Windows Phone 7 a few years to mature. I think if Windows Phone 7 wasn't so crippled with multitasking and lack of exchange features (like no task syncing) I would probably go with the HD7.

And they're really lacking direction. If they do go the Windows Phone 7 route this is probably the last device I'll buy from them.
