If your interest this morning was zeroed in on seeing Xbox Live Arcade footage of Torchlight while being told how well received the PC version was, the team at Runic Games have your very strange and specific request covered.

The long wait for Torchlight to arrive on the Xbox Live Arcade comes to an end on March 9, when the game launches as part of the XBLA "House Party" promotion. The game has been priced at 1200MS Points ($15).

    Q: Did they enable Multiplayer?

If not, pass until torchlight 2 or a firesale. I already have enough single player dungeon crawls to play through. I want to play online with other folks and crush stuff Diablo2 style.

No multiplayer IIRC. It's a really great game, but since I already have it on PC I'll probably take a pass on this as well. Although if you haven't played it yet I recommend checking out the demo once it goes up, it's a pretty excellent game.

Same here. I couldn't quite get into Torchlight due to the lack of multiplayer. If I play a single-player RPG I prefer it to be story-driven, not hack & slash.

This is basically the original game ported to the 360... so no multiplayer. But as other have said... it's still a great game. And since this one is on the 360 now.. .maybe the second one will get a simultaneous release with the PC version? (Or at least soon after the PC version).

It's just funny, almost any computer can play this and it's been on sale for many times under $2, which is when I bought it for me and 5 friends, and yet, people complain and cry. GG internets.
