According to TVLine.com, Super Bowl XLV was the highest rated event in the sport's history. Based on ratings data the big game tackled 111 million viewers, besting last year's game by 4.5 million sports fans.

The numbers are certainly deserved since XLV was one of the more exciting championship games I've seen in a very long time--in any sport. The outcome wasn't what I expected but it was entertaining from top to bottom.

Actually, there was a terrible bit in the middle where my television started flickering and the sound started to break apart. No matter how hard I hit my television it just wouldn't right itself and, in some spots, started to get so bad I thought my TV was going to break. But then the Black Eyed Peas got off the stage and everything was cool again.

Just finished Mass Effect 2

Good lord that game is just beyond epic. Amazing storylines, amazing characters and I really enjoy how in the Mass Effect world what decisions you make in this game might have some bearing in the next. Really makes you think about what you are going to do. Hopefully The Old Republic is similar in that vein.

I'm curious to see how in particular my choices of saving the geth rather than destroying them will affect things along with obviously the choice at the end. I chose to blow up the collector base. Kind of want to go back to a saved game to see how 'saving' the collector ship is different. What exactly happens if you choose that? Care for a quick synopsis?

    They explained it in the game. The reapers end up looking like the creatures they are made from. each time they build new reapers, they choose the best race to harvest for reapers. this explains the entire plot of the game which is "why are only human colonies disappearing." The answer is they use them for reapers.
    
    previous incarnations of the reapers appear to have been squid-like things. note that the protheans were not used in building reapers, they were used to make collectors.
