Assassin's Creed Brotherhood to get New Multiplayer Map when Facebook Page hits 1 Million Fans

Ubisoft has announced a new multiplayer map will be made available for free when the Assassin's Creed Facebook page hits one million fans.

When the Facebook page hits the one million mark, Ubisoft says it will release a new t-shirt commemorating the event; release a "Thank You" video featuring the dev team; execute a 24-hour, 15% discount on the UbiWorkshop; launch a giveaway on the Facebook page; and release the "Venezia by Night" multiplayer map for the most recent game in the series, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.


Brotherhood 'Animus Project Update 1.0' DLC
Brotherhood launched on November 16 in North America for the Xbox 360 and PS3. A PC version is planned for the company's first quarter of 2011. Since launch the game has recieved two free DLC updates, adding new multiplayer maps and gameplay modes.

At the time of publishing, the page is straddling the line at nearly 960,000 fans. So, let 40,000 of our closest friends know that the time to start "liking" things on Facebook is now. If they want something for nothing, that is.

    Damn it, I already like it. And I'm waiting for the PC release so I can play it on OnLive.

    I just finished Assassin's Creed 2 there yesterday, so this is more relevant now.

      Btw, Assassin's Creed 2 ending... I really liked the way they broke the 4th wall, sorta, without actually breaking it.

        Those sun gods are speaking to Ezio, who lives in year 1500~, and tell him that he's just a messenger, and they pass on this message. While doing so, that girl faces the camera directly and looks at the player/audience while speaking, as if breaking the 4th wall.

        Then she says the message is meant for Desmond, the guy from 2020 replaying Ezio's ancestor memories via Animus machine.

        That means she was only looking at the camera because she knew Desmond would be seeing Ezio's memories from that perspective, etc.


        That was just so fucking brilliant. A very nice touch. ;D
