Evening Reading
by Jeff Mattas, Jan 31, 2011 5:00pm PSTWell, that was quick, January. We barely knew ye.
I'm off to Namco Bandai's Ignite event in San Francisco tomorrow evening to see what they have in store for 2011. And then I'm back up there again at the end of the month for the 2011 Game Developers Conference. As anyone who has been to San Fran will tell you, there are certainly worse cities in which to to spend some time. Being a bay-area native that hasn't been back in a while, I'm really looking forward to it.
And on that note, let's all welcome the last chatty of January with open arms, while casting suspicious sideways glances at February.

Snippet:
A new stat on copyright infringement released today is shocking: 23.8 percent of all global Internet traffic involves digital theft with BitTorrent accounting for 11.4 percent.
The numbers in the U.S. aren't much better. More than 17 percent of domestic Internet traffic infringes on copyrights, with BitTorrent responsible for 9 percent of that traffic.
