Evening Reading
by Jeff Mattas, Jan 31, 2011 5:00pm PSTWell, that was quick, January. We barely knew ye.
I'm off to Namco Bandai's Ignite event in San Francisco tomorrow evening to see what they have in store for 2011. And then I'm back up there again at the end of the month for the 2011 Game Developers Conference. As anyone who has been to San Fran will tell you, there are certainly worse cities in which to to spend some time. Being a bay-area native that hasn't been back in a while, I'm really looking forward to it.
And on that note, let's all welcome the last chatty of January with open arms, while casting suspicious sideways glances at February.
Also, here's what's been happening today at the Shack:
Splinter Cell Blacklist co-op modes partially detailed
FIFA 14 on PC won't use Ignite engine
Ace Attorney Trilogy coming to iOS next week
Far Cry 3 editor jazzed up with Blood Dragon shinies
Epic Mickey 2 for Vita coming June 18

Stupid costume quest game breaking bug near the end can't be patched. Aka the problem with download titles is they don't generate enough revenue to justify patching if you fuck your customers. Learn to test your games better. I don't plan on buying double fine products in the future. And no I won't go play through 3 hours of your game again because of a shitty bug on your part.
