I'm off to Namco Bandai's Ignite event in San Francisco tomorrow evening to see what they have in store for 2011. And then I'm back up there again at the end of the month for the 2011 Game Developers Conference. As anyone who has been to San Fran will tell you, there are certainly worse cities in which to to spend some time. Being a bay-area native that hasn't been back in a while, I'm really looking forward to it.
And on that note, let's all welcome the last chatty of January with open arms, while casting suspicious sideways glances at February.

-Experience the angst of Crossroads is Under Attack on a world-wide level - your towns, your quest hubs, that guy by the side of the road - the rifts will gank them all if you don't close them!
-Public/private group settings let people join your group w/o waiting for invites. Click the "+" and join them for the rift, quest mob, etc and then leave.
-No Dungeon Finder
-PvP will be insanely crazy to "balance"
-Only make four characters ever - one of each class with quad-specialization of talents (souls).
-Each class has a soul with a pet.
-Support classes are fun and useful - no more being vote-kicked for Disc-dpsing in RDF pugs.
-Collect artifacts without surveying 10 times to find fragments - just right-click to loot the glowie. Finish a set for loot or AH your extra artifacts.
-In-game codex for lore nerds
-Mod your UI with the decent in-game options (it does not feel like it is "missing" anything except threat/damage meters)
-If you get bored questing, go find a rift to close.
