Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Welcomes Back Marvel's Sentinel; Hsien-Ko from Darkstalkers Makes the Cut
by Xav de Matos, Jan 28, 2011 9:00am PST[Update: 12:05pm] Capcom has confirmed to Shacknews that the character reveals for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 are not finished quite yet. "All will be revealed in the next couple of weeks," a rep told Shacknews.
[Original Post] As Capcom inches toward the launch of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, two new characters for the upcoming crossover fighter have been revealed.
The ancient combatant Hsien-ko (of Darkstalkers fame) joins the Capcom roster, while Marvel vs. Capcom 2 menace, the robot Sentinel invades the list of fighters on Marvel's side. Both characters are classified as "secret characters" within MvC3.
MvC2 might fans remember the Sentinel as one third of a popular team, alongside Magneto and Storm. All three characters are now available in MvC3; however, we're hopeful Capcom is hard at work balancing the nightmarish squad.
Shacknews has contacted Capcom to confirm the roster for both sides is now complete, rounding out the list of fighters to 36--not including characters planned to arrive as DLC.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will launch for Xbox 360 and the PS3 on February 15.
