Crysis 2 'Pre-Launch' Multiplayer Demo Coming to PC
by Xav de Matos, Jan 28, 2011 6:15am PSTEA and Crytek have activated "Maximum Good Will" with PC gamers, revealing a multiplayer demo in inbound to PC for Crysis 2.
Word of a demo for the previously PC-exclusive franchise came from Twitter. A message from the official Crysis account reads: "At this time, Crytek & EA are glad to confirm that we'll be releasing a pre-launch Crysis 2 multiplayer demo on PC! Stay tuned for details." Shacknews has contacted EA to see if we can capture some of those details early.
An open multiplayer demo is currently available on the Xbox 360; however, users have detailed a handful of issues hindering their enjoyment, ranging from freezing to difficulty finding matches.
Crysis 2 launches on March 22 for the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
