by Jeff Mattas, Jan 27, 2011 5:00pm PSTAfter playing through Dead Space 2 this week in just a few meaty sittings, I'm beginning to wonder if being on-edge for extended periods contributes to any measurable health risks. Someone should do a study.
In other news, the Internets are abuzz with the a ton of details about Sony's "Next Generation Portable." Well, everything except for the price, that is. Looks like we may have to wait until E3 for standard price-points for both the NGP's hardware and software. That said, if the retailer-proposed pricing for Nintendo's 3DS and its software is an indication of where the cost of portable gaming is headed, the gap between the cost of gaming on traditional consoles or PCs and the cost of playing on hand-helds is becoming more and more negligible.
I've personally never been much for gaming on hand-helds, but I do find the future prospects pretty compelling, though potentially quite pricey. What do you think of the narrowing cost and technology gaps between "on the couch" and "on the go" gaming?

i find my '10 mazda 3's transmission to be rather "clunky" compared to my old 01 protege.
however, it's nowhere near as "clunky" as when i turn the DCS off and use the manushift.
yes, i'm a lazy fucking asshole and i have no fucking tolerance to manually shifting gears. Fuck you shack, i dont give 2 fucks what you think about automatic transmissions. You dont drive nearly as much as i do, in the amount of traffic i do every day.
For any fgt out there that praises manual transmissions, im sorry. There's NO FUCKING WAY ON THIS PLANET that you enjoy constantly shifting from first to second in slow ass traffic all the time. I fucking dont. That's why i went auto. Im just too fucking lazy.

p.s. the ms3 has such a fucking ridiculous price point in canada, that it makes it absolutely not worth the cost for that car in toronto traffic. You rarely see ms3's in the toronto area. There's a good reason for that.......... it's sooooo fucking cheaper to buy those cars in the states, you fucking clowns south of the 49th dont know how good you have it down there for this vehicle. I aint paying close to 40k after everything is "Said and done with" for the ms3 up here.... even though i test drove it and fell in love with it.... here's what i paid for my crappy 2010 2.5 5spd auto w/ air and "comfort package (power everything except nav, heated seats and power seats)... 28k....
