Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overlocked Coming to 3DS in Summer
by Alice O'Connor, Jan 26, 2011 2:00pm PSTThe revamped Nintendo 3DS version of DS tactical RPG Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor will be released this summer, developer and publisher Atlus confirmed today.
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overlocked, as it's called, updates the original with full voice acting, artwork remastered for the higher-resolution 3DS screens, and a new eighth chapter described as "a rousing epilogue for Shin Megami Tensei fans."

Set across seven days in a demon-infested Tokyo, the original Devil Survivor was released on Nintendo DS in 2009 to a warm critical reception. While Devil Survivor for 3DS was initially revealed at E3 in 2010, Atlus has been playing it cagey since then. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona and 'Shin Megami Tensei'--presumably the 1992 original--were also listed for 3DS, though there are no further details on either yet.
