L.A. Noire Release Scheduled for May [Updated]
by Alice O'Connor, Jan 24, 2011 7:15am PST[Update: 11:14] And the trailer's out. Find it below.
Though Team Bondi's L.A. Noire has received plenty of release windows--and delays--today's announcement that the open-world detective game will launch on May 17 in North America is the first time it's been given an actual release date. Hopefully, this indicates that publisher Rockstar Games really means it this time.
A new trailer will arrive later today to celebrate the announcement--as, in theory, you get double the coverage if you stagger things. The trailer actually leaked over the weekend but Rockstar's parent company 2K has been having it pulled from sites across the Internet, so we'll update this post with the trailer when it's officially released.
L.A. Noire will hit Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The European launch will be on May 20.
