The biggest downside about being a weekend game developer is that everything else wants to be done on weekends as well.

The biggest downside about weekends is that they end.

The biggest downside to running your own business is that you don't have a weekend

^^ Agreed - long weekend, 3 1/2 hours sleep, back to work. Its always a huge motivation though if you actually have work to do when self employed.

Totally with the motivation - It sucks if you have no weekend when you're working for someone else, it's tough to work up any motivation, but when you're insane-busy with your own business, you know something is going right and you actually WANT to be working :D

As much as I would love to work on Episode 2, I'm not going to as long as there exists a chance I'd be Foxed.

I've got my own designs in the meantime.
