Mortal Kombat Creator Teases DLC Characters

6
The roster in Mortal Kombat is already chock full of old favorites, but series co-creator Ed Boon has hinted at a few other familiar faces that could return through the magic of downloadable content. Boon tweeted recently, asking fans which DLC characters they'd like the most: Rain, Shinnok, Kenshi, Robo-Smoke, or a new character entirely.

It's likely that the team is working on all of these characters, and the request for fan preference will help determine how they're bundled. New character reveals are still coming at a regular pace, and just the other day we learned that Jade and Goro will make appearances.

Boon also took some time to issue a "no comment" tweet on speculation of an Xbox 360-exclusive character. Since Kratos was revealed as a PS3-exclusive, fans have been wondering if a Microsoft franchise will get its own.

He said many times that the pc ports were the worse selling versions back in the days and that they were sadly a waste of time. Yep, you read that right, even the godawful classic gameboy versions of MK were selling more than the arcade quality pc ports.

They also said more recently that a PC port is not out of the possibility. You can't really compare sales from the 1990s to current chances. Street Fighter 4 made it work, I don't see why they can't.
