there are some truly striking visuals in the remake of The Exorcist with Stellan Skarsgård, but the film falls flat.
I'm a sucker for older films when it comes to creepy stuff... The Omen, or even the sequel, are so fun to watch. Rosemary's Baby, etc.
If I want to watch a slightly more modern film with an interesting dark, vibe I'd much rather go for something like The Ninth Gate.
