Guild Wars 2 'Behind-the-Scenes' Video Features the History of ArenaNet

In a lengthy behind-the-scenes video featuring footage of Guild Wars 2, the team at ArenaNet outline the company's history and love for the Northwest.

While the video is extremely interesting, it has moments where it could pass for a "Seattle Tourism Video" ... or a short film that asks you to take a swig from a cup of a nearby, mysterious fruit drink. Either way, the end result is a detailed look at an entire team of game makers and how the company was formed.

So often, the game industry focuses on one name as the person responsible for the entire creation of a complete game. For high-profile titles, that isn't the case. This video proves it takes an army to build a war.

I think it's hilarious how everyone that doesn't play GW is super excited about GW2, and everyone that currently plays GW thinks Anet is at best making questionable decisions, and at worst selling out.

      It sounds like you mostly played GW for PVP? And they are focusing it too include more PVE now? Does that mean they are going to dumb down the PVP aspect, I dunno. I thought they said they were trying to balance them both nicely, at least more balanced than GW was.
