          You can always make a vehicle centric map with 2 or 3 tanks and short spawn times. There should be special maps that spell this out in plan text during the loading screen. I remember the desert map from Euro Forces for this. Tanks all over the place. It was not hard to get a turn in the tank. By the same token there should be city maps with streets too narrow for vehicles or terrain too impassible so the infantry fans can slog it out on the ground.
          
          Tanks were only a threat in BF2 when the drive held way back and fired from a distance, supporting advancing infantry. It was effective but this bores most people and they end up driving their tank right down the streets of Karkand where it was easy to put two AT missiles into their rear. I had very little fear of tanks.
