L.A. Noire Screenshots Full of Looking at Things

Rockstar has released four new screenshots for L.A. Noire and they are quite full of characters glancing, staring, and otherwise looking at things. More trailers, please.

The game, developed by Team Bondi, is scheduled for release in the first half of 2011 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (cue hate from PC gamers). The main character, Cole Phelps, is portrayed by Mad Men's Aaron Staton. The technology behind this is detailed in this video.

I love when a game is console exclusive, the pc gamers get way too upset. Like they haven't had an exclusive before. Yeah it would be nice if every single game in existence was on pc, but you can't get everything you want. is it so hard to understand?

What is wrong with you people? This game deserves no hate from PC gamers. Film noir is a genre that appeals to so many non-hardcore gamers, but has not done super well yet. This game needs to be a hit so that we can pull more people into games and then all gamers benefit. Max Payne was great, but it was too cheesy on the noir side, and too awesome one the matrix slow-mo gun play to really get a mainstream following. Go Rockstar! They know what they are doing.

No real hate from me as fully-fledged PC and Console gamer due to the release dates. The game just looks incredibly boring (to me) so I have zero interest in it ever coming out.

Ooh, they fixed up the lighting. Looking good.

You know, even though I'm at least 80% PC, I don't have a problem with this being console only, especially considering it was originally PS3 exclusive.
