Morrowind 2011 Mod Compendium Available Now [Updated]

[Original Story]

A collection of graphical enhancements and user mods for Bethesda's Morrowind, dubbed Morrowind 2011, is approaching completion and a teaser video and information site have been posted by the author (via Reddit).

It isn't available just yet, but should hopefully be released soon. The site details the steps required to eventually install the mod collection so I guess you can get started on that process, which differs depending on what version of the game you own.

The mod will clock in at around 4GB on top of Morrowind itself and is "mostly a graphical/sound upgrade," though the creator has "thrown in a few mods to flesh it out a bit."

I'm glad someone finally had the balls to do this, credit the mod authors and just release it. The mod community for the TES games is too obsessed with themselves to every agree to something like this as a whole. Now someone needs to do the same thing for Oblivion. It's a shame there's been more progress with shaders with morrowind than oblivion though...

Fuck yes. I finally bought it on Steam last week and my CE is coming from Ebay either tomorrow or the next day. FUCK YES THIS IS AWESOME.

Fantastic improvements, there's so many talented fans that add so much to older games.
