Morning Discussion

Well, this is it. The end of 2010 is upon us. A year of hard work and tough decisions. This is a year I left working at a site and a magazine I called home to start new at a legendary website: Shacknews. Known for one of the most passionate and loyal communities online.

This year, some things worked and some things need fixing. It's my goal in the New Year to work even harder in order to provide you with the coverage you deserve and not only the coverage you expect.

From my chat with a handful of amazing Shackers in Toronto, it's pretty clear that it's going to take some work to bridge the gap between the chatty threads you love and the front page you may or may not know exists. It's not going to be easy--and for some, possible--but you're all intelligent enough to know what you want out of a gaming site. You deserve our absolute best and, more importantly, you deserve our respect. The reasoned ones, at least! That is what I strive to do in 2011.

Garnett is handling Morning Discussion tomorrow, so, I'll talk to you next year. Or Saturday. Whichever comes first.
