Evening Reading
by Brian Leahy, Dec 22, 2010 5:00pm PSTThe presents are under the tree and it's a long haul until Saturday! Definitely looking foward to seeing what I've got coming to me this year and excited about what I've gotten for my fiancee.
I'm also looking forward to playing some games on my backlog from this year over the short break. What will you be playing on your vacation, if anything?

For me I think the most epic game would be this...This is not an mmo type game but more action along the lines of Fallout but with mmo mechanics i guess.
-Zombie survival/ Tower Defense CO-OP. FPS
-Start out, chump "level 1"
-Shelter building, like a school, or mall, or mountain hide etc.
-You an gain skills as you do things, like scavenge, hunt, shooting, electronics, food growth etc...
-During the day wildlife out, not of baddies, you go out to find things to survive, make computers to improve your defenses, better turrets etc.
-Night time has waves and waves of zombies assaulting.
-Ever few days or every week the zombies or baddies get harder
-How long can you and your friends survive.

It would have the unique property of making the game have a nice difficulty curve without resorting to tricks or throwing hordes of guys at you.
