Castlevania: Lords of Shadow DLC Detailed and Dated
by Xav de Matos, Dec 22, 2010 10:10am PSTDust off your whips and prep your best brooding scowl, more Castlevania content is on the way. Today, Komani revealed two new pieces of downloadable content are in the works for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow from developer MercurySteam.
In the "Reverie" downloadable content pack, players will return to the castle as the game's hero Gabriel in order to lend a hand to the former servant Laura "in destroying the unruly evil that was previously kept in check by the recently slain Queen."
The second downloadable content takes place immediately after the events of the game. Entitled "Resurrection," the content "gives some insight into the dramatic epilogue seen by players upon completion of the game, and Gabriel's ultimate destiny." According to the press release, Resurrection will be larger in scope than the first DLC pack and will feature a "final showdown with a very notorious enemy."
Reverie is expected to launch in February 2011, while Resurrection will arrive in April. Both DLC packs will arrive on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Pricing has yet to be revealed.

Yeah, there's a market for side-scroller 2D Castlevania and if its fruitful then keep making them.
This is something different and new and I loved it. Reminded me why I loved video gaming in the first place.
