NEOGEO Games Come to PS3 and PSP to Celebrate 20th Annivesary
by Brian Leahy, Dec 21, 2010 4:30pm PSTA handful of NEOGEO titles will be coming to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable through the "NEOGEO Station" on the PlayStation Store.
An initial offering of 10 games will be available with the PS3 versions selling for $8.99 and PSP versions going for $6.99, though only two of the games will be available today for the PSP. The rest will be released in 2011 along with other NEOGEO games.
The games have all been updated for multiplayer or co-op over the Internet on the PS3, while the PSP versions will have ad-hoc support for multiple players.
There will also be a bundle of all 10 titles for the PS3 will be available on January 4, 2011 for $79.99 and include "an official SNK Custom Theme exclusively for this bundle as a bonus item" and $10 of savings over buying each game individually.
