'Comprehensive' Fallout: New Vegas Patch Out on PS3 Today, PC & Xbox 360 Next Week

Lady Luck must be smiling on us today. The promised "comprehensive" patch for Fallout: New Vegas launched today on PlayStation 3, publisher Bethesda has announced, and is due to be released for the PC and Xbox 360 editions next week.
While the changelog doesn't go into much detail on what exactly the patch changes in Obsidian Entertainment's post-apocalyptic RPG, it does offer a good long list of areas which are affected by it. Highlights include fixes for saved game corruption and dozens of quests, plus hopefully an end to companions being lost in the Mojave wasteland.
Top fixes:
- Companions now show up as waypoints on the map
- Companions will always fast travel with you, unless told to wait or sent away
- Fix: DLC error/save corruption
- Fix: Entering the strip after Debt Collector causes crash and autosave corruption
- Fix: Using Mojave Express dropbox can cause DLC warnings
- Crafting menu now filters valid (bright) recipes to the top of the list
- Weathered pistol no longer glitches when applying mods

Moved onto Fable 3 before I raged out of that game and back into Demon's Souls. Now I can return to Fallout NV.
