Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 'Super Sports' DLC Announced
by Alice O'Connor, Dec 10, 2010 11:00am PSTNew cars and events are headed to Need for Speed Hot Pursuit in the 'Super Sports' downloadable content pack, announced today by developer Criterion Games.
The $6.99 (560 Microsoft Points) DLC will add the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, GUMPERT Apollo S and Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport horseless carriages to Criterion's high-speed policing game, along with thirteen new new race and pursuit events.
December 21 is when the Super Sports pack will hit Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, though curiously absent is any mention of a PC release. We've contacted EA for the skinny, as surely no publisher would ever treat PC gamers with anything less than reverence.
