Broken Sword 2 Being Remastered
by Alice O'Connor, Dec 10, 2010 7:00am PSTRevolution Software has announced that its 1997 adventure game sequel Broken Sword - The Smoking Mirror is receive a revamped new version, much as it tarted up Beneath a Steel Sky and the original Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars.
Broken Sword - The Smoking Mirror: Remastered boasts fancier graphics, enhanced sound, animated facial expressions, a hint-system and diary. Intriguingly, Dropbox integration will enable cross-platform saved games. There's also a new "interactive digital comic" by 'Watchmen' artist and long-time Revolution collaborator Dave Gibbons.
Broken Sword - The Smoking Mirror: Remastered is to be released for iOS devices "very shortly," followed by PC and Mac editions "very early next year." Pricing has yet to be announced yet. For reference, Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars- Director's Cut currently costs $4.99 for PC, iPhone and iPod Touch and $7.99 on iPad.
