Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath will finally debut on PC this holiday season, developer Oddworld Inhabitants announced today, when the 'Oddbox' series compilation revealed over a year ago at long last launches.

Releasing for download via Steam, the Oddbox will pack Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee from 1997 and 1998's Abe's Exoddus, both released on PC, among other platforms, plus previously Xbox-exclusive Munch's Oddysee from 2001 and 2005's Stranger's Wrath.

Oddworld Inhabitants promises "a few new additions and enhancements," which will be unveiled later, as will the Oddbox's release date and its price.

Stranger's Wrath is also winging its way to PlayStation 3 courtesy of a revamped remake by Gravity Crash developer Just Add Water, due out Easter--April-ish--2011.

Awesome! I am a massive Stranger's Wrath fan.

One question will the PC version of Stranger's Wrath be revamped like the PS3 version or just emulated?

    Please please say revamped :(

Sorry, it's the original XBox version, BUT running at a lot higher resolution, and it still looks f'kin awesome!

Hmmm that sucks :( seems like a waste when the PS3 has already all the assets re done and over whole-ed I be happy to wait for Q1 2011 for Stranger's Wrath.

Still its gona be very nice, since it will run at max res your comp has and I am sure AA and AF will be a option.

I guess I will still have to get the PS3 version :(
