Aspiring DJs take note, Activision has revealed the next two weeks worth of downloadable content for the scratching sim, DJ Hero 2.

On December 14, three new mixes will launch in an "Old Skool" pack. Featured are Fat Boys' "Human Beat Box" vs. Mantronix' "Kings of Beats," Tag Team's "Whoomp! (There It Is)" vs. 45 King's "The 900 Number," and the Beastie Boys favorite "Triple Trouble" mixed with Tone-Loc's classic "Funky Cold Medina."

December 21 brings a different flavor of mixes, with a Linkin Park Mix Pack. The pack features "The Catalyst (Does It Offend You, Yeah?" remixed by FSG, the Diplo Remix of "When They Come for Me," and another FSG remix, this time of "Pts.of.Athrty." Both packs will be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 for $7.99 (640MS Points).

If waiting is not your best quality, two new mixes are available right now: "Debaser" from the Pixies mixed with "Invaders Must Die" from The Prodigy and "Body Movin'" from the Beastie Boys mixed with "Rock and Roll is Dead" by Lenny Kravitz. Dubbed the "Hard Edge Pack," the two track set is available for $5.99 (480MS Points). Track packs are not available on the Wii; however, each individual mix will be available for 300 points each.

It is a damn shame that these awesome mixes are basically stuck inside this game.

it would be nice to have the option to buy these tracks as mp3 files. The dj hero OSTs are pretty good.
