For those who have played it, worth $15? The reviews from the Shack crew seemed mixed to me.

LOL! DAM YOUR MODERN REFERENCES!! It's DIABLO meets "MONKEY ISLAND"! Which is directly from Mr. Gilbert's own mouth. :]

I hope you've played at least the ladder of the two mentioned games and not the remastered vomit -- where as Guybrush was portrayed as a massive douche -- but the classic(Better Quality) version?

        OK, I'm done Nerd Raging...

I chose Torchlight for it is lighter than Diablo and Psychonauts for the feeling of the game. Movement and such. Also it includes the same underlying style as Monkey Island when it comes to colors and backdrops I feel.

I agree with what you wrote, it works well as another descriptor, I was just messing with you as I'm an old Monkey Island-tard that puts Ron's games above Tim's creations. :)

The atmosphere and writing are enjoyable but over all I didn't think the game was very fun.

Tried the demo and found it somewhat...meh. It tries too hard to be funny and fails most of the time (imho) and the gameplay style just isn't as fun for me as it once used to be.

More than enough to develop a solid opinion of the overall game.

Some times yes. The gameplay would be easy to gauge on this game, but as far as judging the funny, that's pretty subjective as to state the obvious, we all have different likes.

It's worth it if you're willing to put up with them potentially refusing to fix any bugs you run across. (360 users have been waiting 2 months for a fix to a bug preventing some people from finishing the sequel.)

i played the first on PC and loved it, great humor and the gameplay is kind of easy especially for for not-hardcore rpg players and Its one of the few games that ive finished recently.
Anyway i think im getting this one as well. Anyone knows if this one longer ?

The game is great, but the voice of Deathspank sounds a little bit like the Tick if the Tick had dentures. I can practically hear the dentures slipping out of their grooves with every sound file.
