PopCap Discounting All PC and Mac Titles by 50%

If you're a fan of highly-addictive, casual titles, PopCap's holiday sale is going to put a massive strain on your finances.

PopCap revealed that, right now, its entire PC and Mac catalog will be half-price until November 29. Hits like Peggle, Plants vs. Zombies, and more are a few of the games you're likely to play throughout the rest of the week.

Shacknews would just like to remind you to look up from your computer monitor around 2pm on Thursday, November 25, and say hello to your family who graciously stopped by to spend Thanksgiving Day with you. Then immediately look back down and keep going for that high score. You see them all the time, anyway.

I wish the plants vs. zombies campaign had a difficulty adjuster (i.e. add 20-25% armor to all zombies).

I feel they probably will make one. They're not dumb and PvZ was wildly successful.

I'd also like more PvZ, but I'm not holding my breath. They seem focused on iterating the game across multiple platforms right now.

PopCap has been pretty inconsistent when it comes to sequel material. Sure, Bejeweled is on its third game, but look at Peggle. Despite its success they only followed it with Peggle Nights, in what amounts to an expansion pack.
