Nintendo Reveals Green, Orange DSi Bundles in Time for Black Friday

3
With America's annual shopping day extravaganza just around the corner, Nintendo has revealed two new DSi colors that will be in stores in time to greet the monstrous wave of Black Friday consumers.

On November 26, an orange and a green DSi packed with a copy of Mario Party DS will be available for a suggested retail price of $150. According to a Nintendo press release, each color will only be available for a limited time.

For those willing to spend a little more, the Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary DSi bundle is currently available and includes a classier looking system, a few pre-installed pieces of software, and Mario Kart DS.

Do people still fall for this? Release different colors and people flock? Everyone knows the 3Ds is coming next year. If you weren't going to buy a DSi, you're not going to buy one now right?

The 3DS and its probable associated $200+ price tag don't hold that much interest for me; I was able to get the 25th Anniv XL completely in trade credit from my PSP, anyway, so not everyone is holding out.

I'm sure people will buy the bundle. I don't think it is so much a clever trick as it is a new bundle for people in the market for a DSi.
