Batman Arkham Asylum 60% off on GFWL Today, Zombie Driver Discounted This Week on Steam

While we usually point out digital deals before the weekend, both Steam and Games for Windows Live are offering up a few choice items that are time sensitive.

To celebrate its re-launch, Games for Windows Live has discounted the Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition to $11.99 (down 60% from $29.99). The offer expires today and new deals will appear daily until November 21.

On Steam, Zombie Driver has been discounted to $4.99 (down 50% from $9.99) as part of another random "midweek madness" promotion. The sale ends on Thursday at 4pm PT.

Direct2Drive is holding a Rockstar Games week, discounting select titles from the house that built Grand Theft Auto. Today's deal has not been revealed; however, at the time of this posting, players can still grab Tuesday's deal: a Grand Theft Auto pack with (GTA3, Vice City, and San Andreas) for $7.50. But hurry, it'll end any minute!

So what? A deal is a deal, when it comes down to it, imho.

$50 for a blowjob from a young, hot chick is a deal. $50 for a blowjob from a middle-aged, crackwhore, not so much. You forget the part where MS continually screws over pc gamers? Why reward them? So they can become a dominant force in the pc market and just to pull the rug from underneath it when they damn well please?

I heard that if you buy this game from GFW Microsoft will personally come to your home, kick your dog, and take a crap inside your PC.

What the hell has MS done to earn my trust as a pc gamer? Not a god damn thing.

There's that Windows thing. Oh, and DirectX?

              I'm just saying...

Xav, it's obvious he's talking about M$ deliberately sabotaging GFWL to make sure all PC gamers had a crappy experience so that they would all just give up and move to the SUCKBOX.

MS did not create Windows to benefit pc gamers and if they'd come out with an Xbox back in 1995 I doubt they would've spent any appreciable effort improving pc gaming at all if their recent history is any indication, just saying...

MS's support for pc gaming is a joke but if you enjoy get screwed over by them and then rewarding them with your money because they dangle a fucking treat in front of your empty skull be my guest.

So, I use steam, it's delightful - GFWL won't even start on my machine and every game that I've had that has used it has been a multiplayer abomination? I keep trying to give it a chance, but it just seems terrible in every respect.
