Pac-Man Championship Edition DX Chops Through XBLA Tomorrow, PSN Next Week
by Xav de Matos, Nov 16, 2010 4:15pm PSTDo not adjust your calendars, there is news afoot in the Pac-Man universe. Namco Bandai has revealed that Pac-Man Championship Edition DX will launch on the Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow and on the PlayStation Network next week, on November 23.
Pac-Man's newest downloadable console appearance is priced at 800MS Points ($10).
Like 2007's Pac-Man Championship Edition before it, Pac-Man CEDX throws the classic character into a fast-paced, multicolored arcade adventure that is visually akin to--as a crazy hippie would say--being on a really far off trip, man.
According to the press release, Pac-Man CEDX features "more mazes, new modes and exciting gameplay features that will have everyone rethink what they know about Pac-Man." In other words, trash that fan-fic because everything you thought to be true has now been called into question.
