"Of course, we know that players would like to get the game as soon as possible, so we hope that they will forgive us! We strongly believe that the extra time spent polishing the title will be well worth the wait." So polite, those Europeans.

More details on topics including a Collector's Edition, pre-orders, DRM and the launch will be revealed during CD Projekt's fall conference on Thursday, November 18. The shindig will be broadcast online through The Witcher's website for all to see. Hopefully the DRM will follow RED's own respectable and reasonable DRM policy.

There's still no firm ruling from RED on The Witcher 2's potential console release.
