Rumour: Sly 4 Teased in The Sly Collection

2
A new entry in Sucker Punch's platforming steal 'em up series Sly Cooper may be in the works, as one player of The Sly Collection claims to have discovered a trailer for the unannounced sequel Sly 4 in the recently-released revamp bundle.

Rumoured to be unlocked by obtaining all the trophies in The Sly Collection, the supposed trailer was captured by Youtube user 'tatermoog.' It shows Sly's silhouette peeking out at a patrolling guard and ends with a logo for 'Sly 4,' subtitled simply with a question mark.

Sly creator Sucker Punch has yet to announce a fourth game in the series, nor its next project after inFamous 2, which hits PlayStation 3 in 2011.

Shacknews has contacted Sucker Punch and long-time publishing partner Sony for comment. For now, watch the trailer below but do take it with a pinch of salt.

That would be awesome! The current generation is sorely lacking good platformers.

Well I think there are plenty of good platformers actually. Ratchet & Clank come to mind, as does the Tomb Raider games, Uncharted, and the plethora of Indie platformers around. But another Sly game is definitely welcomed. I'll definitely be picking up the Collection as I never finished Sly 3, for some odd reason. And replaying the others should be a good romp.
