Wet 2, Naughty Bear 2 Announced as A2M Becomes Behaviour

Sequels to Wet and Naughty Bear have been confirmed today as developer Artificial Mind & Movement announced a return to its original name of Behaviour Interactive.

There's no word yet on when the imaginatively-titled Wet 2 and Naughty Bear 2 are due to be released nor which platforms they're being made for. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 releases seem likely, as they were the platforms for the originals.

The indie developer--Canada's largest, it claims--is perhaps best known amongst the hardcore for the pair of action games but has also worked on a number of ports, including the Wii version of The Sims 3 and Dante's Inferno on PSP, as well as games based upon licensed properties from Iron Man to High School Musical.

"We are and will always strive to be the best and most trusted independent game development studio in the industry," said CEO Rémi Racine--a bold boast. "The change in name is not only a return to our previous name but also an indicator of the evolution of the company. We have developed a strong reputation as a high-quality work-for-hire studio as well as a creator of our own original content and will continue to pursue both sides of the business. The new name reflects the renaissance of the company."

As well as the two new sequels, Behaviour is working on XBLA advert/game Doritos Crash Course and movie adaptation Rango, not to mention "several unannounced games for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo's Wii and DS, Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, next generation handhelds, a Facebook game to be launched in November and a Casual MMO to be launched early next year."
