Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Is This Week's Xbox Live Deal of the Week

The retro-style beat-em-up based on a comic, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, can be added to your digital Xbox 360 collection for 50% off, this week.

Major Nelson revealed that, from now until November 14, the Ubisoft-developed title has been reduced in price from 800MS Points ($10) to the retro Xbox Live Arcade price of 400MS ($5). The promotion is only available to Gold members.

Although the film based on the same universe failed to strike big with audiences, the classic-style of Scott Pilgrim's debut video game adventure was a solid outing. So, rustle some loonies and toonies together, and hit the streets of Toronto with your fists of fury.

I'd pay more if they put this game on Steam. I just know that long after Xbox 360 is a distant memory, Steam will be holding my games for me like a silent protector, watching over my gamingdom until the day I die.

Consoles come and go. PC's are forever.

Oh I see how it is, MSFT is waiting until after this sale to give me my 800msp credit from the October deal. The credit is due "at the end of the promotion" if you spent 2400msp in Oct but the fine print says allow for 4 weeks delivery.
