Evening Reading
by Brian Leahy, Nov 02, 2010 5:00pm PDTSo the real guitar for Rock Band 3 isn't going to be out until March 1, 2011, which is a really long time after the game's release. I'm curious how people will rush out to get the MadCatz controller, which is certainly capable of handling Pro Mode, but isn't a real guitar.
Furthermore, will people that can't wait and snag the MadCatz controller be upgrading to the real deal in a few months? Time will tell!

Hi guys, abrasion here - you may remember me from such posts as "that thing sucks" or "hey look I'm eating asian" but this post is going to be on the mobile phone theme again!!!
Educate me on hacking this android sillyness, I don't understand it at a fundamental level and it upsets me very much. Here's the problem: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTC_HD2
Modding
Android and Ubuntu have been unofficially ported to the HD2.<SNIP><SNIP> <SNIP> The best known Android ROM for HD2 with almost 100% functionality: FroyoStone Sense - V3.2
Here's the problem, I don't understand this - I like to understand the back end.
Surely if you put a firmware / rom on a device which allows you to 'hack on' Android, once the Android OS is loaded on the handset, why would any functionality not work? Either the OS is on there, or it isn't?
Maybe this is a driver level thing, the Android OS doesn't understand a certain physical piece of hardware in the HD2 and therefore, rom or no rom a driver needs to be added to Android? Is that maybe what I'm missing here.
