Crackdown 2 collecting dust on your shelf? Need new content to rope you back in? Ruffian Games has you covered, as the second DLC pack for the game has been dated and priced.

On November 16, the "Deluge" downloadable content pack for Crackdown 2 launches for 560MS Points ($7). Included in the pack are "updates" to the weapons and vehicles in Crackdown 2, a capture the flag variant called "Capture the Orb," and a new mode dubbed "Deluge." In Deluge, up to four players must battle against waves of enemies throughout Pacific City.

If you'd rather test the content before commuting to a purchase, the "Deluge Pack" will be available in a trial version--giving you a chance to play the new modes for free. Purchasing the content nets players new achievements and Avatar awards. You can watch all the fresh action in a trailer after the break.

For Windows Phone 7 enthusiasts, playing the mobile title Crackdown 2: Project Sunburst will unlock special bonuses hidden within the Deluge DLC. On the streets, they call that synergy.

While I suppose "commuting to a purchase" can make sense if you're going for an overly complicated metaphor or pun, I don't think that's what you were intending.
