Super Meat Boy Soundtrack On Sale Now!
by Brian Leahy, Oct 28, 2010 12:00pm PDTThe soundtrack to Team Meat's Super Meat Boy is now available for digital purchase. The album includes 33 tracks from dB soundworks, though five are contributed remixes. It will cost you at least $3.99.
If you so choose, you have the option to pay more than $3.99 for the soundtrack if you're feeling generous, but that's really up to you. The album is available in MP3 320K, FLAC, MP3 VBR, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, and ALAC.
A special edition of the album will be released in late November. The only special feature announced thus far is its ability to exist physically in the tangible world. The entire album can be streamed from the website if you're curious about the game's soundtrack, which is certifiably awesome.
Super Meat Boy is currently available on Xbox Live Arcade, but will be coming to PC and WiiWare next month.

There have been a few of the OCRemix guys that have gone on to do actual video game music (A couple indie/budget titles, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix was completely done by them, as well as some Mass Effect 2 stuff and a vocalist was in Civ4:BTS). They're talented folk over there, and they come up with some fantastic stuff.
