Today's THQ/Steam sale features the 4A Games-developed survival horror shooter Metro 2033. Based on the novel of the same name by Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro 2033 throws players into a post-apocalyptic Moscow where survival contending with terrifying beasts in order to scavenge for the most basic of supplies.

One of my personal favorites of 2010, you can pick up the PC version on Steam today (until tomorrow at 10am PDT) for 66% off as part of a week-long sale on select THQ software.

  There are two different types of ammo in the game. Military grade which is more rare and homemade ammo. The military ammo is very powerful and will kill enemies quickly while the homemade ammo takes a lot more. A headshot to humans with homemade ammo will still kill in one hit though.
