Is it expected to be a Windows Marketplace exclusive if it comes out when the marketplace launches (as rumored)? Or is it likely to appear on other digital distribution services as well?

Well, since microsoft said they wouldn't sell any steamwork games I'm pretty sure it'll be exclusive to Games on Demand.

That doesn't mean that Fable isn't sold on Steam, just that they don't sell games that incorporate Steamworks DRM, thus can only be played with Steam.

Yeah you're right, but do you really think that microsoft is going to sell one of its game on a competitor's digital distributing platform?
Its in their best interest to keep it exclusive to games on demand, maybe they'll get less sale that way but people that really want the game will have no choice but to buy it there and if their experience with games on demand is good then it'll be more likely that they will buy from there again in the future.
