Telltale has revealed pricing, platforms, and a release window for the upcoming episodic, five-part Back to the Future title it announced back in the beginning of September.

This December, Back to the Future will launch on the PC and Mac, with PS3 and iPad version launching "shortly" afterward. Pre-orders for the game are available on the game's official site, priced at $24.95.

Telltale also announced it will donate $1 for every pre-order the game receives to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Pre-order customers will also receive a free downloadable copy of Telltale's Puzzle Agent and access to a special "pre-release insider forum," allowing gamers to interact with the team creating the game.

Taking place six months after the events of Back to the Future III, Marty is forced to go back in time to help his old friend Doc, who is stranded in another era. Although we can't confirm it to be possible, we're hopeful the new game series will somehow be able to remove the last film in the series from all existence.
