Kirby's Epic Yarn Won't Spin Through PAL Territories Until 2011

While North American and Japanese gamers have been keeping busy with Kirby and his latest colorful adventure since last week, the good people in Europe and Australia have been forced to sit on their hands awaiting the rotund hero's arrival. Today, Nintendo revealed that arrival is further off than we anticipated.

According to Joystiq, Nintendo Australia confirmed that Kirby's Epic Yarn will release in PAL territories in 2011. Although a specific date is not revealed, Joystiq notes that online retailer Play points to a March release; however, retailer listing are often speculative.

Sadly, whatever the date may be, European and Australian gamers will have to wait while others put the final game through its adorable paces.

Although we can't say for certain, we suspect Kirby's Epic Yarn has been held back in certain territories in order to censor its extreme violence and graphic blood. It has to be that, right?
