Whether you've just been checking out the trailers for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, or participating in the multi-player beta, media showcasing the single-player portion of Ubisoft's latest classical murder simulator may have seemed like it was taking a back seat.

Enter the game's first "Story" trailer, which teases the single-player portion of Ezio's return to Rome. There are a handful of new activities depicted in the trailer, like parachuting and city-based horse-play. The trailer also seems to be narrated by antagonist, Cesare Borgia, a cruel and brilliant general in charge of the Papal armies. According to his official description, he's a young general who "terrifies his troops to ensure that he gets what he wants."

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood launches on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 19, 2010. A PC version is expected in 2011.
