by Xav de Matos, Oct 14, 2010 5:00pm PDTOh, hey. Yeah, this "Evening Reading" thing isn't my usual gig, but I thought I'd jump in and see what's what. Garnett is out for the podcast. Brian is out sick. I'm going a little out of my mind. So, it's a good time to get a conversation going.
I've recently started buying pieces of my "gaming rig of the future." The rig itself being built in the future, not necessarily from the future. Although, that would be awesome. But it'll get really old when the computer disappears into another time every time I type the numbers "88." Oh, and by the way, "Go Leafs Go!"

I also have a transmission FROM EA when I bought shadow broker from bioware vis a vis EA, going to an email account, that I punch in to MoH, and that doesn't work either.
I started down the line of trying to play multiplayer by saying "fuck it" and signing up with a gmail address. then someone says "don't do that you won't get the veteran bonus weapon shit or links to your history!!" oh shit, good point. ok click cancel. whoops the "WELCOME TO EA" shows up in my gmail account anyway. awesome. can that log in? nope.
so 3 accounts with three known passwords, all are reported as invalid in MoH - and clicking "forgot password" doesn't even work. oh but wait, I've RECEIVED MAIL FROM EA on those fucking addresses. all 3 of them.
who the fuck programs this shit, this is fucking annoying. so far, $60 +tax and over two hours down the drain. And now I'm starting to understand why people would bitch for having steam refunds. this is fucking ridiculous. I can't even get into multiplayer unless I just want to abandon the linkages from past games.
no wonder I keep playing TF2, it's fun and it always works. this uber stat tracking account tracking bullshit is fucking stupid and it doesn't even fucking work. I'm sure my CD key is now locked or flagged as well and I won't even be able to play it at all.
sorry for the rant, thanks for listening. I just wanted to play this brand new video game that I downloaded 7+ GB of.
