Duke Nukem Forever Demo Keys Showing Up for Borderlands Owners in Steam

16
Though access to the forthcoming Duke Nukem Forever demo was originally planned to be included for those that purchased the Borderlands Game of the Year Edition, users are finding demo keys linked to their Steam accounts if they had purchased the game before October 12.

To check and see if you have a key, find Borderlands in your Steam Library and click the "CD Key" link in the game pane. If you've got the key, it should show up as "Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club Code". It can be redeemed here, though the demo is not yet available.

Read our impressions of Duke Nukem Forever from PAX 2010 while you wait for the demo to drop.

I feel guilty now, since I've said before that I'm not terribly intrigued by this game and sure enough, I have one of those CD keys. Guess I'll have to try it or I wonder if it's possible to give it away (anyone know)? I'll gladly put it up for some cool Shack person to have via a contest or something...

My birthday was yesterday... Does that count for "cool"? ;)

Erm. Copy the key and paste it in an email to your friend?

Are you poor by any chance? I'm sure you could get something for it via paypal.
